Attending the Peace Treaties in Art Edit-a-thon
Peace Treaties in Art 30 x 30 Challenge
On July 9, the Basque Wikimedians User Group held an edit-a-thon in Donostia-San Sebastián, in the context of the Peace Treaties in Art 30 x 30 Challenge. The event was autdoors of San Telmo Museum and editors from different countries participated. Wikimedia Spain, besides participating in the editing activity, was invited to do a presentation about GLAMing Madrid project, carried out between September 2016 and January 2016.

In July we covered four events for obtaining free pictures: two music festivals, the International Jazz Festival of San Javier and the International Festival of Benicàssim, and two sport events, the Rally Sur do Condado and the Rally Vila Nova de Cerveira. Also, we continued collecting ballot papers from the Spanish general election for uploading them to Commons. Finally, we held another Wikipedia workshop at the library of the University of Cádiz and we had a meeting with the Ciudad y el Mar, Castillo de Mata Museum, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, to initiate a collaboration and develop various activities in the coming months.
